InAGlobe Blog Introduction

After a busy two months conversing with as many professionals and academics as possible, InAGlobe starts to truly define itself. We are yet at an embryonic stage but we are steadily morphing and taking a shape that is to define an experience for people across the globe. In the following weeks we hope to schedule all the meetings and visits possible to NGOs, Universities, Governmental Organisations, and any of the kind, as well as to experience Mozambique as for what it truly is. It is important to create a conversation that is culturally flexible, and for that we not only need to bridge contact, we also have to first hand experience the lifestyle and culture.

We are 3 weeks away from setting off towards Maputo, Mozambique and the trip begins to structure itself into a beautiful and truly constructive experience. With already a rough guide on how we will proceed, we are waiting upon small details that will allow us to remain in Mozambique for a total of 36 days. We have decided to commence this approach with Mozambique for a variety of reasons. These include good networks of connections (from previous ventures within the group), a politically stable country, a country committed to sustainable development, as well as the whole range of motivating statistics that attempt to describe why collaborating with Mozambican-based organisations will help improve the quality of life of many people living in scarcity.

Just today, we received confirmation that the Bioengineering Department of Imperial College London has given official written support for our initiative, to which we are incredibly thankful and honoured. This is an important step in the working relationship we want to create with institutions of the calibre of Imperial College London, given that it validates our approach as well as it motivates us to do more and to do better.

This blog will be updated on a regular basis as time progresses, ensuring that all those interested in the venture may keep informed and up to date. This blog is also an opportunity for anyone to reach out to us with any form of opportunity or suggestion!
